Fairgrounds Workday

What a WONDERFUL turnout, both Thursday and Saturday. The weather was nice both days with little wind and plenty of sunshine. We did lots of weeding even after that devilish winter there are still weeds. We cut the old dead grasses off. The yellow and with red tint cannas were dug up about 2/3's of them. Art Pratt volunteered to take them home and babysit till the plant sale. We found many signs of spring being on its way. One loney crocus was up and blooming other spring flowers were on their way as well.

The birdhouse project was not as good. This fearless leader misunderstood the article. The houses were already built when we opened the boxed. No one was more disappointed than I was. What do they say dodo happends.

Those who participated on Thursday many thanks for a job well done.
Caroline Carroll, Shawna Hazel, Marcia Doran, Barb Koennecke, Patsy Hazelton. Mike and Judy Kuenzli, Sally Stidham, and Ginny George.

Those who participated on Saturday many thanks for a job well done.
Caroline Carroll, Shawna Hazel, Ken and Sandy Jensen, Mike and Ivy Wilcox, Art Pratt, Robert Dunston, and Carolyn Riley.

Many thanks again to everyone who came to the Fairgrounds to work. We will be working again March 25th unless it warms up alot between now and then and another day needs scheduled. The fairgrounds are very visual to Mountain Home and for me a project leader I would like to keep it looking Great.

Mike Kuenzli has been project chair and since I have taken it over he has been helping me a great deal. I know it is his wish to work on other projects so if anyone is interested in being a co-chair to this project let me and/or Tamara know.

Thank you, Renee Biermann
